Positive Life updates!!

Helllooooooooooo
So I've not put up a blogpost in over a month...i know i know makes me sort of a crappy blogger atm sorrrryyyy, but I swear I'm gonna get back into the routine !
A lot has been going on, so I thought I'd give you gorgeous people an update!!!

1)I got a conditional offer for uni!!!
So as you all may know my passion lays within makeup and the whole beauty/fashion area, I decided to do an extra year at college hoping it would give me a higher opportunity to get into uni as I previously didn't have what they wanted , so I worked my butt of this year and worked on my portfolio and they've actually given me a blimin chance *Eeeeeek* !!!
I've wanted this for so long now ,to go to this specific uni since I was back at school ,and finally being given this opportunity is actually pretty emotional to say the least!
If all goes to plan and all goes well ,I should be starting this September... Fingers crossed ! :*

2)I finished college forever!!!
I still can't believe it to be honest , college is done my college life is finished!
I don't know if I'm prepared for this just yet !
I've spent 3 years of my life studying something I love , hated it on a couple off days but that's with everything hahaha!
I met amazing people ,made amazing friends ,had amazing opportunities, got a chance to expand my knowledge and focused solely where my passion is truly held!!!
And it's all over now I was excited at first and I still am to have finished ,but there's a little part of me that feels a bit upset that ,that part of my life is over , and time is literally flying by and I don't even notice it!
Well on and upwards is what I'll say to that!

3)Got myself a job!!!
So I got myself a job at a place that I love and is literally HEAVEN to all beauty and non beauty lovers!
I constantly doubt myself in everything I do pretty much all the time, and I know that's not good but I'm working on it !
I didn't think I had a chance at this job and having literally gone to the interview the day before I finished college officially I thought no way I'm getting this , I'd be way to lucky to get a job right after finishing colly especially at this awesome place!
But a little self belief and some positivity gets you a blimin long way, cause I got called back for a trial day and I got the job!!! ( ps you'll probably get future posts on this job ;) hehe )!!!

4)Booked my first holiday away with mates!!!
I'm going away for the first time with a few of my closest homies! and I'm so bloody excited !!!
I'm going Prague in June *woooop* !!!
I'm actually excited beyond belief it's ridiculous haha !
(Even got a countdown on my phone) yup that's how sad it gets lol!

So my lovelies that's it for today.
Hope you all enjoyed!
Much love

w7 Reviews

Hey my gorgeous people!
i am going to be doing a couple reviews on the w7 WAKEY WAKEY Daydream Cream and also the w7 EYE Love it .

1) The wakey wakey daydream cream is the perfect morning face cream, its nice and refreshing with a subtle yet refreshing fragrance that helps to wake you up in the morning.
I am far from a morning person and after I've washed and cleansed my face in the morning this is that perfect balance it just wakes me up and leaves me feeling great!
It has a silky effect , its totally non greasy, and  it sinks into your skin leaving it feeling completely nourished and moisturized ,its said to help restore your natural skin barrier , and i have to agree i think it does ive been using this and my skin honestly has been feeling pretty smooth and it DOESN'T BREAK ME OUT!!!
I sometimes react to some products and i don't with this one , so i would definitely recommend this.

2) The EYE love it eye cream is heavenly to help diminish fine lines and wrinkles , even to just help brighten up the eye area, and help give a smoother application for makeup around the eyes.
this eye cream is quite thick , but that is what makes it so nourishing and makes your eyes feel super open and alert.
i find this to be very moisturizing, and i find it to have a very subtle scent ,not overpowering at all , its very natural and calming.
i think this eye cream has helped do wonders to my under eyes and i believe it helps give a flawless look under the eyes for when i apply my makeup it sinks in and feels great!
definitely give it a go and you'll see what i'm talking about!

Hope you Enjoyed Xx

Lashes ,lashes ,lashes !!!

Hello beautiful people :)
sorry I've not been as consistent with my posts but I'm finishing of my course and in the midst of ,
Applications and deadlines Ect ...
So for today's post I'll be on about My general opinion on individual lashes and how I'm finding it!
So , in my course I've just started doing lashes and I honestly love it!
It's very relaxing and therapeutic , yet it has to be one of the most fiddly things in the industry.
I managed to do some , as you'll see below but they're not even a half set due to us only practicing , and I had to practice on one of the lecturers ! (Nerve wracking of what) !
It's actually a very complicated treatment , as you've got to select the correct length , and thickness of the lash to suit the client , what they want out of the treatment ,types of glue, the density , sensitivity , patch tests ect .
It takes a while to get used to it , but once you do , then you'll be super fast at it .

My lecturer did a demo with a few lashes on the left, and I did the rest!
I've got to say I was pretty happy with how it turned out !
I personally love permanent individual lashes , whether you want a few here and there , or you want a very full set ,they definitely make the difference , and they can look as natural and as fake as you please , from natural colors to funky reds and purples  !
And if done properly they Can Last you months!
I'd recommend  it definitely , but go to someone who knows what they're doing , so you don't end up damaging your natural  lashes or anything around your eyes which are super sensative for a matter of fact.
The lashes range from sizes of  anything from 3mm to a crazy 20 mm , but most places go from around a 6mm to a 14mm .
And there are different curls also , like J curl, B curl ,and C curl there are more but these are the most common.
There are various types of lashes from silk to mink and from coming in rows that you stick to the back of your hand            ( which I personally find a lot easier ) or you can get them in pots all mixed together and then you have to separate  them each, they are a lot more hard work but they are generally a little cheaper , so budget wise they're better!
Each lash is attached to each individual lash of your own , it's presise application is what makes it last so long and look so natural or fake .
So this is my general views and mainly what I've learned and practiced , hope you enjoyed !
Much love Xx

My week in pictures!!!

Hey guys!!
Sorry I've gone awol my lovelies , but a lot has been going on these past couple weeks !
But I'm back , and with full force for a 'My week in pictures' blog post.

1)

So this week in college we've been doing hair designs ,and have been trying out various techniques for different looks.
In the images above , there are pin curls , loose curls, victory rolls , twists Ect , I'm surprisingly patient when it comes to hair , which I really didn't think i would be , and I really enjoy it too.

2)

On number one we've got me and my bestie ,my (mana) as we like to say!
We were at that point of desperation in being away from each other for so long so we decided to get together and go for a nice fun catch up! :)
Number two we've got a nice hot candle lit bubble bath ,which was heaven if i must say so my self ,i usually just stick to showers but just relaxing in a bubble bath is pure perfection on some tiresome days.
Thirdly there is my eye LOL, and i decided to do a little throwback and go and buy an old favorite mascara of mine, the Maybelline cat eye mascara!
i needed a good mascara so i remembered this one and it's just as amazing as i remember, the picrture above is just with one light coat on and look how long my usually short lashes look!!!!!!
Lastly its me in my Workout gear!
Iv'e been trying to be good lately and eating a lot healthier , and also trying to work out daily ,so yeah i thought me and my Shock Absorber sports bra ,were worthy of a good ole selfie ,hehe .
3)

Lastly we've got some pictures of me and my cousins over the weekend , it was an unexpected last min thing!
And I love those (unless I've got plans ;) haha ) , it just turns a boring old weekend to some full on family fun! Love my little annoying rascals to bits!

So that's my week in pictures for you all hope you enjoyed !
Much love

Contouring & Highlighting Madness

Contouring & Highlighting!

My ultimate makeup Must! doing both these things is what honestly brings your entire makeup look together , you sculpt the face to utter perfection , bring out your best features and disguise the worst!
My contour and highlighter of choice is my Sleek contour kit in Light or medium depending on the time of year!

Above are two pictures the left is me with the appropriate products ready to contour and highlight my face, and on the right is me after contouring and highlighting!

These are a few examples of light contouring and highlight that I did on a collegue of mine with a light day makeup!

CONTOUR-(contouring is the key to shading and sculpting, the darker shade makes things look smaller)
HIGHLIGHT-(highlighting brings out the desired features ,the lighter shade helps to make things stand out over the dark creating contrast which sculpts the face to perfection )

Step by step on how I do this:

1.) Apply your base!
Foundation , concealer Ect , do your normal makeup ruitine as usual!

2.) Begin applying contour -
There are various places to contour the main one being to accentuate the cheekbones , apply this (cream/powder) contour right through from your ears the the centre of your cheek right below the cheekbone , apply this lightly because you can always build up you don't want to look like you've  caked ciment on your face! Lol
Want your forehead to appear smaller ? Simply apply your contour to the outside arches of the forehead going to the middle and blending outwards towards the hairline.
Slimmer nose? apply two lines on each side of the nose joing them with a "U" at the tip and blend very well outwards.
Want a more defined jawline , simply apply the contour to your jawline in a straighline along the entire jaw and blend down to the neck.
Basically anywhere you want to make "smaller" you can even apply a small amount below the bottom lip to give it that more plump look!

3.) Begin Highlighting-
Now highlighting is to bring out your features so now ...
Apply to the centre of the nose between the two contour lines and blend down it'll give it that perfect slimming look to the nose.
Apply below the eyes for the brightened open eye look.
Apply above the cheekbones right at the "Apple" for heightened cheekbones!
Some between the brows and below the arch of the brows , for extra definition.
Also some in the cuspids bow to help achieve that Angelina Jolie lip ;) !
And lastly you can apply some to the centre of your chin to make it look that extra bit perfect!
And now BLEND BLEND BLENDDD!
Take a look at your final look and you'll definitely see how amazingly sculpted and flawless your face is looking!
